Transportation & Parking

Air Travel The Minneapolis-St. Paul airport code is MSP.
Airport-Downtown Minneapolis If you're coming from or going to the Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) airport we recommend the Hiawatha Line (Route 55) Light Rail.
Bus Metro Transit offers free bus rides up and down Nicollet Mall. With stops at the Convention Center, Hyatt, and Light Rail this is a nice time saver and it's hard to beat free.
Bicycle You can rent community bicycles for next to nothing and explore some of the beautiful riverside property not far from the venue.
Skyway Walking System Check out the unique and vast skyway glass "tunnel" walking system.
Driving & Parking The Minneapolis Convention Center has a nice driving directions page and a nice page about parking around the area.
Taxi Suburban, Green and White Taxi (+1 612-522-2222), Rainbow Taxi (+1 612-332-1615), and Blue & White (+1 612-333-3333) are usually pretty reliable for taxi service. They're probably also the fastest way to get to other hotspots like Uptown, Dinkytown, and Northeast.
Dining/Fun
There's always an exciting city show, acclaimed and off the hook or offbeat restaurant, or a ballgame at Target Field when you're in Minneapolis in September. And did we mention there are lots of parks and lakes, high art hangouts, and coffee shops?
